Most of our garage doors are covered under both our warranty and the manufacturer’s warranty. We offer a one-year warranty on many of our services that covers manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship. Each of our manufacturers also offers a warranty on their products. Haas Door provides a manufacturing warranty against rust and delamination of the steel. Cornell offers a 24-month warranty from the date of shipment on defective parts. Cookson also offers a 24-month warranty on their products, including a warranty for their finishes against fading, cracking, blistering, flaking or peeling. Blue Giant supplies a one-year warranty for their loading docks, as long as they are properly installed and operated.
However, as you use your garage door, gate operator, fire door, roll-up door, dock equipment, etc., be careful not to do anything that might void the warranty. Some things that could void your warranty are: painting the door with paint that has a LRV of less than 35, misuse of the parts, damage due to an accident, or corrosive chemicals/fumes such as fire, salt, condensation, or alkaline cleaning agents, performance coatings, damages that were sustained outside of the manufacturer’s control, ordinary wear, improper maintenance of the parts, lack of access, abusive conditions, and operating parts against the manufacturer’s instructions.
If you have a problem that is covered under our warranty or any of our manufacturer’s warranties, submit your request in writing to the proper company. Our warranties are non-transferable. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
